Activate your Current Debit Card online

  1. Current cards are activated in the Current app only
  2. Follow the app steps

Activate in the Current app

  1. Open the Current app
  2. Tap the Card icon on the Overview screen
  3. Tap Activate next to your new physical card
  4. Enter the expiry date and CVV
  5. Set a PIN if prompted

Activate by phone

Call the activation number printed on the sticker on the front of your new card (or the customer-service number on the back) and follow the automated prompts. You will usually be asked for the card number and a piece of identity information such as the last four digits of your Social Security number or your ZIP code.

After you activate

  • Add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay
  • Reset the PIN in the app any time

How do I activate my Current Debit Card?

You can activate it in the Current app. Online or in-app activation is usually fastest: sign in, choose the new card, and confirm the details requested.

Is there a phone number to activate a Current (cards issued by Choice Financial Group or Cross River Bank) card?
