Activate your Venmo Debit Card online

  1. Venmo Debit Card activation is app-only
  2. Open the Venmo app and follow the app steps

Activate in the Venmo app

  1. Open the Venmo app and go to the Cards tab
  2. Select the Venmo Debit Card section
  3. Tap Activate
  4. Enter the CVV printed on the card
  5. Create a PIN (or enter the one you already set)

Activate by phone

Call the activation number printed on the sticker on the front of your new card (or the customer-service number on the back) and follow the automated prompts. You will usually be asked for the card number and a piece of identity information such as the last four digits of your Social Security number or your ZIP code.

After you activate
