Lowe's Advantage Card
Best for: Homeowners financing or discounting larger Lowe's projects
👍 Pros
- No annual fee
- Save right away at Lowe's
- Financing for larger projects
👎 Cons
- Really only pays off at Lowe's
- APR is high unless you pay in full
A store-only card that earns nothing as a rewards card; its job is the 5% discount on eligible Lowe's purchases or special project financing on big renovations. For a $5,000 kitchen project that 5% is $250 off, but you generally can't stack the 5% and the financing on the same purchase, so run the numbers on which saves more. Useless outside Lowe's and carrying a deferred-interest balance past the promo period is costly. Read the financing terms carefully on lowes.com.
