Activate your Citi Credit Card online
- Go to citi.com/activate
- Enter your card details
- Verify your identity (last 4 of SSN or date of birth)
- Enter the security code
- Confirm activation
- Sign the white or gray box on the back
Activate in the Citi Mobile app
- Open the Citi Mobile app and sign in
- Follow the prompt to activate your new card

Activate by phone
Call the activation number printed on the sticker on the front of your new card (or the customer-service number on the back) and follow the automated prompts. Is there a phone number to activate a Citibank card?

Can I use my Citibank card before activating it?
