The Platinum Cashback Everyday is the UK's best-known no-fee cashback card: 5% back for the first three months (capped), then 0.5% on the first £10,000 a year and 1% above that. Spend £15,000 a year and you collect roughly £100 in cashback after the intro period — far more than most no-fee UK cards. The catch is acceptance: Amex is still refused by some smaller UK shops, so most people carry a Visa or Mastercard alongside it.
