Activate your U.S. Bank Credit Card online
- Sign in to U.S. Bank online banking
- Select the card that needs activating, then choose Account
- Select Details & controls (right side of the Card info tile)
- Select Activate card
- Enter the card information and the last 4 of your SSN, then select Activate

- Sign in to the U.S. Bank Mobile App
- Select the card, then Account
- Scroll to the Manage card tile and choose Details & controls
- Tap Activate card and enter the card details and SSN last 4
Activate by phone
Call 800-285-8585 (Cardmember Service. Say 'activate card' for the automated system, or use the number on the activation sticker) and follow the automated prompts. You will usually be asked for the card number and a piece of identity information such as the last four digits of your Social Security number or your ZIP code.
